Rochester Active Sports Club (RASC) is a nonprofit club based in Rochester Minnesota, designed to promote nordic skiing, mountain biking and road biking in SE Minnesota.

We Bike Rochester are a group of individuals advocating for a more bicycle friendly Rochester, Minnesota.We Bike Rochester supports bringing a bike share program to Rochester that would add to the vitality of the city, be a health and economic benefit to the business community and support the necessity of alternative transportation to the growing needs of our population. You can find out more about this organization at http://www.webikerochester.com/



Rochester Table Tennis Club

The Rochester Table Tennis Club (RTTC) is the first club in Rochester, Minnesota dedicated to the sport of table tennis.  It was founded in June, 2003 by a group of local players. The club meets at the RCTC and is organized as a nonprofit organization in the State of Minnesota.  It is also affiliated with USA Table Tennis (USATT).



Rochester Track Club
The goal of the Rochester Track Club is to promote and encourage running and fitness in Rochester and the surrounding communities by providing support, information, and events for people of all ages, abilities and levels of fitness



TriRochester - Triathlon Club

For triathletes, the main Triathlon club in Rochester is TriRochester. The club is focused on getting a strong triathlon group together in Rochester. This is organized along the same lines as VeloRochester and WOW. Click above on the TriRochester - Triathlon Club link to get to their site. 




Rochester Rowing Club

Rochester Rowing Club was founded in 1992 to bring people together to enjoy the sport of rowing. Since then the club has at times grown to more than 20 adults and 40 junior members. They are located near 710 W Silver Lake Drive NE, Rochester, MN 55906. Juniors (aged 12-18) practice weekdays after school and Saturday mornings. If you want to try rowing, the Rochester Rowing Club usually offers a six session Learn to Row program each summer in June / July.  Dates and times are posted on their website. 



Rochester River Rats

The Rochester River Rates was started in 2013 and is orientated towards canoeing and kayaking on local rivers. they have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/RochesterRiverRats/



Kayaking

Rochester has a group that now meets via Facebook - see Rochester River Rats above. Also, if you are interested in trying out kayaking, each summer Tyrol Ski and Sport holds kayak session in Chester Woods for those who would like to try out this sport. No dates set for the 2013 season, but if you want more details, contact Robb Welch at Tyrol.

Randonneurs (Minneapolis)

The organizer for the Randonneur Bike Association lives up in the cities and is going to be using the Twin cities bicycling club as his sponsoring bike club. The long range plan for the Minnesota Randonneuring group is to become independent with their own website and insurance thru RUSA. This will take a couple more years. For the present, all future events will be run through RUSA.



Prairie Walls and Roca Climbing  - Climbing Gyms

There are two climbing gyms in Rochester, Prairie Walls Climbing Gym at 4420 19th Street NW, and Roca Climbing & Fitness at 6071 Rome Circle NW. These two indoor climbing gyms offer state of the art indoor rock climbing. Featuring 10,000+ square feet of highly featured climbing surface, their walls are designed to inspire and challenge first time climbers as well as experienced climbers.

Traverski Ski, Sport & Social Club

The Traverski Ski and Sports Club is based in Rochester, Minnesota. They organize all sorts of recreational activities for members, including trips for both downhill and cross country skiers. They also conduct a variety of social events throughout the year so you don't have to be a skier to join the ski club.
