RASC Hiking

New in 2026! Hike with Rochester Active Sports Community!

Throughout the summer, Rochester Active Sports Community hosts hiking and walking groups in many of the local city and state parks.

Inaugural hike: Oxbow Park, June 13th

Join us for a moderate-paced hikes or walking in and around Rochester! Typical route is about 4-6 miles at a pace of about 20 minutes per mile. Note that pace may vary depending on weather, group size, and trail conditions. Leaders will do their best to keep the group together, though some natural spreading may occur. We will pause occasionally to enjoy the scenery. The hike usually concludes with a lunch at a neaby restraurant for those interested.

For calendar of upcoming hikes, see RASC Upcoming Events.
